The Future of Business Software

“Thoughts on AI, business software, and what comes next.”

Business software is changing.

For the first time in decades, ordinary businesses have access to AI that can genuinely make them smarter—not just busier.

AI assisted business intelligence

I’m watching that new world emerge.

Evaluating AI platforms.

Questioning assumptions.

Separating innovation from hype.

Helping businesses implement what actually works.

I don’t evaluate business implementation as a programmer. I do it as someone who’s spent a lifetime helping businesses grow.

WELCOME TO MY NOTEBOOK.

I don’t believe bigger software is better software.

Like a lumbering battleship, many of today’s enterprise platforms are immensely powerful. They’re also expensive to provision, difficult to navigate, and slow to change course.

For Fortune 500 companies, that’s often a reasonable trade-off. For most growing businesses, it isn’t.

What excites me is a new generation of AI-powered platforms that make sophisticated technology accessible to ordinary organizations.

Software should simplify your business.

The question isn’t “Can AI do it?”

The better question is…

Can your team actually use it to make your business a better version of itself without too much effort?

Technology succeeds when people can easily adopt it. That’s why I evaluate every AI0-powered platform through a business lens.

Is it intuitive and easy to deploy?

Does it fit naturally into existing workflows?

Can someone become productive this afternoon?

Will it still make sense six months from now?

Those questions matter just as much as the technology itself.
